The Independent Fire Engineering & Distributors Association (IFEDA) was founded in 1989. The key aims of the Association is to promote quality standards and procedures within the fire protection industry, ensuring all members work towards, and achieve, ISO 9001:2008.

If you are looking for a fire protection company for your fire extinguisher servicing or any other aspect of fire safety and protection such as fire alarms and fire risk assessments, then look for the IFEDA logo; a sign demonstrating that the company has achieved, or is actively working towards, third party accreditation through ISO 9001: 2008 : promoting quality standards in the fire industry through independent auditing and assessment.
